Days start at 9:00, finish when you have had enough of reading cases!

This 4 day course offers total 24 hours CPD towards BSCI Level 2 accreditation in a combination of formal lectures, teaching points and workstation training.

 Even if you have minimal workstation experience, we will teach you to use Vitrea software to read axial images and generate curved MPRs to analyse coronary arteries.

Live cases will be scanned on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in a hospital clinical environment with opportunity to interact with all aspect of the preparation and acquisition. You will be present at scanning patients with 320MDCT and 80MDCT

At the end of the course you will take away a logbook of 150 read cases and certification for 24 hours of CPD. 

To demonstrate your Level 2 competence, you are required to attend your local Cardiac CT department to read 25 live cases under the supervision of a trainer.
